1. Introduction

Welcome to EventForge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EventForge's website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

EventForge provides webhook infrastructure for logging, replaying, and routing events for your projects. The Service is owned and operated by EventForge ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Immediately notify us if you discover any security breaches related to the Service

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Engage in spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
  • Harvest or collect user data without consent
  • Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purposes

4. Service Plans and Payment

EventForge offers various subscription plans, including a free tier with limited features. For paid plans:

  • Payments are processed through Stripe
  • Prices are displayed in USD and exclude applicable taxes
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time
  • Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EventForge and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6. Data and Privacy

We take data security seriously. Your webhook data is:

  • Encrypted in transit using TLS
  • Stored securely with industry-standard encryption
  • Isolated per project to ensure data separation
  • Retained according to your subscription plan's retention period

7. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the six (6) months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for any third-party services or integrations

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Suspend service for security or operational reasons

For Enterprise customers, specific SLA terms may be negotiated separately.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your use poses a security risk to the Service or others
  • Required by law or legal process

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which EventForge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they become effective. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
